Data deletion

There are three ways to remove your data from Motion Reel.

1. Disconnect an account in Motion Reel

Sign in, open the dashboard and press Disconnect next to the account. We delete its access token, its details and the statistics we pulled for it straight away. Reels already published stay on Instagram; delete those in Instagram if you want them gone.

2. Remove Motion Reel in Instagram

In Instagram, go to Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites, choose Motion Reel and remove it. Instagram tells us, and we delete that account's token, details and statistics automatically. If you ask Instagram to delete your data, it gives you a confirmation code that you can check on our deletion status page.

3. Delete your whole Motion Reel account

Email support@motionreel.app from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. Within 30 days we delete your account, every connected account and its tokens, your uploaded videos, captions, schedules and statistics, and email you when it's done.
